On January 9th I went to see David Cameron answer questions in North Shields where ordinary members of the public could pose any question they like to the Conservative leader.

I asked David Cameron if he would lift the veil of secrecy about UFOs if he became Prime Minister. He initially answered my question with a joke, but I pressed him for a serious answer. You can watch the question and answer from the richplanet.net website.

David Cameron made a promise,

“I would be quite happy to give you a guarantee that if I was Prime Minister I would always be entirely open and frank about these things.”

“and it is certainly not something that any government should seek to hide from anybody.”

Since he made these statements the story has gone all around the world. It has appeared in all the major national newspapers and is being discussed on hundreds of websites. I hope that he will stick to his word if and when he becomes Prime Minister and reveal the truth to the people. It is obvious by watching David Cameron’s reaction that what he currently knows about the UFO phenomenon and the alleged cover-up could be written on the head of a pin.

Several political websites picked up on the story and UFOs were being discussed on the internet in the most unlikely of places. I was called a “conspiracy nutter” on one website. One person stated, “Your comment is valid, but it isn't Cameron's fault per se. Most if not all national leaders (of which he has never been one) are deliberately kept in the dark by those agencies who mastermind all activity in this area.” “Your beef should be with the cause of the problem, not the symptoms” This is a very valid comment, perhaps I am going after the wrong people. The people to ask are the ones in the know. These are un-elected bureaucrats who remain at their desks whilst governments come and go. I have decided to start a campaign to find out who these people are, where they work and what they know. You can follow this from the richplanet.net website.
