Do you know an Anthropologist?

Anthropology is the study of human fossils and artefacts going back thousands and millions of years to try and work out how man evolved.

A few weeks ago I wrote about Zecharia Sitchin and his theory which describes how 400,000 years ago the Earth was visited by an alien race which created man using genetic engineering. Sitchin claims that these aliens took an ape like creature that already inhabited the earth, and modified its DNA to create a race of slaves for their own purposes. We are the direct descendants of this slave race. One thing that he points out is the anthropological fossil record contains gaps which supports his theory.

In other words the oldest homo-sapien (human) fossil remain is about 180,000 years old. There are no fossils of human like creatures older than this. The latest fossil from a hominid (the ape like creatures anthropologists believe we are descended from) is about 5 million years old. There is no fossilised skull between these times which would prove that we were descended from the hominid. It is as if the human race suddenly appeared out of no-where without any clear evolutionary trace.

I am currently making a series of TV programmes for Edge Media Television (Sky Channel 200), the first one is being screened on 15th November. In one of these programmes I will be investigating the claims of Zecharia Sitchin to see if what he claims is true.

In order to produce this TV programme I have been trying to find a biological anthropologist who will do an interview on camera to answer some simple questions. This has been like trying to get blood out of a stone. I wrote to both Durham and Manchester Universities and nobody was interested, I received a very rude and frankly pathetic reply from a professor at Manchester University. The questions are very simple: What is the earliest homo sapien fossil?, What is the latest hominid fossil?, What is your explanation for there being no fossils between these periods? They are all petrified of these simple questions because it potentially threatens their academic theories, and their entire reason for living.
